Well hello there cheeky monkeys!  So much to write about but as usual, I'm far too lazy to do it.  I've been trying to watermark the backlog of photographs on my desktop.  I've whittled the folder down to 400 so they should be uploaded within the next week or so.  But don't trust me, I'm the person who keeps saying that I will be uploading more Tanake journals but pfft, I cannot seem to make that a reality.

This weekend is PAX which is completely sold out.  We have VIP badges for this year's event, which will be über-cool.  I'm walking the fine line between wanting to show them to everyone and just keeping it quiet... I think I'll do the latter.

Bumbershoot also falls on this weekend along with tomorrow night's performance of Richard Cheese on his farewell tour.  Now if I want to see him again, it'll be Vegas or bust.  I guess I won't be seeing him again...  

This month will be busy for us.  There's Keane, Patton Oswalt and Hope Sandoval with nothing on the calendar in October.  I should double check my newsletters though because that can't be right.  I know the Damned are playing Halloween but after what happened in 2007, I ain't leaving my house for the hooligans.  No thank you.  We'll stay in, watch some horror movies and hand out candy to the ruffians.

Okay, my break time is over.  Our friends are arriving soon and I need to do some finishing touches on the public spaces in our house.  The linens have all been changed and there are fresh towels in the guest bathroom.  The dear boyfriend vacuumed and dusted the entire house.  I'm pleased to report that the kitchen is spotless and the marble counters are polished but there's a few small things to finish.  Ooh!  I'm so very pleased about this - guess what I did?  I changed out the baking soda boxes in our refrigerator and re-purposed the soda.  How did I use it, you ask?  I poured it into both sides of our stainless steel sink and scrubbed the tea stains away.  What a clever girl I am!

And on that note, I'm off like a dirty shirt.  Be safe and have a great Labour Day weekend everyone, however you choose to spend it!
