Journal of Tanake Trang 001.This journal will be a record of everything that is important. I have never kept one before but our lives are so different now, I think it is time to start. It will be interesting to look back and read about the things that have happened to me and Sedaris. I might not write everyday, but I will definitely write if I have something to say. If I cannot, I will rely on the computer to relay the events as chronicled. Mother once told me it would be a good experience for me to record my thoughts and when I grew older, to see what I thought back then. I have never wanted to talk to someone more than now.All that said, onto my journal.Entry: The day started like most days did. Sedaris and I had breakfast and went to classes. It was such a nice day outside that Mother allowed Sedaris and I to do our homework in the gardens. Mojo-Na and Max played in the grass as we worked on our hi
Journal of Tanake Trang 003.Entry: Since our arrival to the ship, I have learned a few things. I learned the ship we are on is called the Savale. We met someone else today. I think he will be our classmate. His name is Yate Hylit and he is twelve years old, one year older than us. He wears his hair in these complex cornrows and seems nice. He told us that he was from the Corellian system and his parents are in the hospitality field. I think that means they work at some sort of resort. He seemed interested in us but at the same time a little apprehensive. Maybe he knows all about how we got here or knows something that we don't.Yate told me that there was another student but she was really shy. He went off with Sedaris and left me alone. I was walking back to my quarters when I ran into Norik in the hallway. He asked if I had met the other students. I tol
Journal of Tanake Trang 002.Entry: A day has passed and we've been here at Grandfather's. He returned and introduced us to this woman. Her name is Balai Badin and she's in her late twenties. She has long black hair and eyes with this amazing red skin. I think she's very pretty. She told us she was going to take us someplace safe where we can study. Grandfather seems to trust her so we have to trust him. He told us that when it was safe we could see our parents again but not now. We don't really have a choice but I like her. She gives off this feeling of calm. I don't know how else to explain it.We left Grandfather's house in her ship. While we traveled, she told us she was a Jedi Seeker. We read about Jedi in the history lessons so it was unusual to meet someone claiming to be one? She is bringing us to a place where we can train with other children that
Journal of Tanake Trang 004.Entry: I have much to write about tonight. A few days ago, Master Adesdin said we had to meet someone. Sedaris and I were taken down to the planet below. It was so green, the ground was spongy with moss. It is different from any other place that we have ever visited. There are no buildings or concrete. It's completely organic. We met an older woman who introduced herself as Meda Om. She is small and wrinkly. She spoke to us about our powers and whether or not we wanted to develop them. I liked speaking with her and when she smiled at us, her eyes crinkled at the corners like Grandfather's when he's in a good mood. We learned that she was a Jedi Master. She seemed pleased to meet us too.She told us the Savale was named for two Force users; a pair of siblings named Deltris and Welora. They were two years apart but very close.
Journal of Tanake Trang 005.Entry: Things have returned to relative normal on the Sevale... as normal as our lives can be. We have been cautioned not to leave the ship again unless we are with either one of the Masters or Norik. We haven't received any messages from Grandfather or our parents. I've decided to stop asking until I'm told otherwise. Sedaris wasn't pleased when I told him this but I tried to explain to him that we'd be told if something happened. We finally started classes and received our first light sabers. They have white blades and are completely holographic. Master Adesdin instructed us to treat them with the utmost respect. We learned a few things in saber training about how to stand properly and how to ignite it. We did physical/spatial tests to learn our limits and repeated the same movements to get the feel for them. After the Master left us in Norik's care, I tri
Journal of Tanake Trang 006.Entry: After class one day, Yate showed me how to play a game with a remote. It is supposed to test our reflexes with our sabers. He challenged me to a match so we decided to play one game. I won ten points to nine. He made some crack that I was better than Sedaris but he was a good sport about losing. It was fun but hard. Yate didn't give me that win either - I had to work for it. I want to improve my speed and I am sure I'll improve using this device. Our other classes have been interesting so far. Meda teaches us about the Force. I have to confess that I like her classes better than Sunder's. His classes are so strict and formal while Meda just talks to us. It seems so easy for her like when Mother taught us at home. Meda showed us how to meditate so we can locate the Force which I've learned is all around us. It coexists wi
