Didn't think you were pushy honestly. I just generally don't have fish overall, but the fish I have had generally have been skillet cooked. Bass and catfish are the usual suspects that I've had. Not counting what you can get in a restaurant (cause you don't truly know what those processed items really are sometimes).
Things like fish sticks are usually made from whitefish like cod.
