Journal of Tanake Trang 004.

Entry:  I have much to write about tonight.  A few days ago, Master Adesdin said we had to meet someone.  Sedaris and I were taken down to the planet below.  It was so green, the ground was spongy with moss.  It is different from any other place that we have ever visited.  There are no buildings or concrete.  It’s completely organic.  We met an older woman who introduced herself as Meda Om.  She is small and wrinkly.  She spoke to us about our powers and whether or not we wanted to develop them.  I liked speaking with her and when she smiled at us, her eyes crinkled at the corners like Grandfather’s when he’s in a good mood.  We learned that she was a Jedi Master.  She seemed pleased to meet us too.

She told us the Savale was named for two Force users; a pair of siblings named Deltris and Welora.  They were two years apart but very close.  Their parents were in the trade federation as negotiators until they were captured by the Imperials.  Meda said we’d learn more about them if we chose to stay.  I want to know more.  It all sounds so fascinating and more interesting than the other galactic history that Father was teaching us.  

We spoke to her for a while then she thanked us for meeting with her.  We were taken back to the ship and once I got back, I decided to explore with Rychi.  She has only been to a few places on the ship since she arrived but I planned on changing that!  We convinced Sedaris and Yate to go with us.  As we walked around the corridors, Rychi and I saw a greenish figure who looked like he was there but at the same time, like he was not.  We ended up chasing him.  Rychi and I could see it clearly but the boys could not.  We made it all the way down to Engineering, he went inside an escape pod and we followed.

I don’t know how it happened but somehow, one of us hit the deploy switch.  We went back down to the planet where we met Meda.  When we landed on the surface, Yate took charge of the blaster pistol from the pod.  He said it was because he had handled one before.  He was bossy about it like he knew what was best.  None of us could really disagree with him because he was right.  He tucked it in his tunic before we all got out.  We saw the figure again so we started to chase him some more.  It began to rain really hard that we could barely see.  These flower-like projectiles were falling and striking the ground.  They would hit and then fall open.  It felt like the planet and nature was against us?  Yate and I had no problem climbing a muddy hill but on the way up, we lost Sedaris and Rychi.  Sedaris slid down and I lost sight of him.  I was terrified that he was injured.  

Yate and I found Sedaris but thankfully he was barely hurt.  He has some cuts on his arms and legs but will be okay.  Rychi was not harmed, she just stayed with him until we came.  We saw the green figure again.  He was trying to lead us back down the hill.  Yate did not want to follow him.  He was so upset and demanded to know what was going on.  Rychi confessed that we were in danger because the green boy told her we were.  She followed his advice and made us run away with her.  We decided to move out of the rain into a nearby cave.   

While she was talking, I wondered to myself who this boy was.  He spoke to me, in my head!  He heard my thoughts and said that I just had to think mine so he could understand.  We communicated this way, like when Sedaris said he heard me call for him!  I found out that Yate could not see him but the rest of us can.  He told me a story about Deltris, Welora, Meda and Qwes.  They were called the Lost Ones and he told me his name was Kelvin.  He said his Master was named Gorvast T’il.  He said something about being exchanged and was wandering with the last Jedi monks.  He got himself captured to save the others who were his friends.

After speaking with Kelvin, Yate wanted to figure out a way to get back to the Sevale.  Sedaris heard something and it was a seeker droid.  There was no doubt about it.  It was there looking for us!  The four of us tried to remain really still but it still located our position.  Yate fired at it and took it down but there’s never only one.  We were sure they would be more and there were.  We ran from the cave and out into the forest.  We decided to split up, Yate and I ran one way and Sedaris and Rychi ran another.  We were able to avoid the droids but thankfully the Masters and some others from the Savale came to retrieve us.  Norik was relieved that we were safe but Master Adesdin scolded us for our escapade.  He said we could have been seriously hurt or worse.  We have all been sent to our quarters with no communication until classes tomorrow.

Who could have sent these droids?  Might it have been someone trying to find Sedaris and me?  It was not</i> our parents, I know that.  They did not exhibit the proper recognition protocol when they approached.  We didn’t have time to find out anything.  Now that I know we are all hiding, maybe it is someone trying to find the Jedi?  I have no idea.
